Bowen therapy is an effective, safe, gentle treatment with remarkable results. It is considered appropriate for anyone from pregnant women to newborn babies, the frail and the elderly. The technique addresses: muscles - tendons - ligaments - joints -nerves -organs -lymphatic drainage - fascia (translucent sheets of connective tissue that envelopes all the above, which can hold patterns if it is damaged or stressed); also with the added benefits of assisting in circulation and aiding in assimilation of nutrients and elimination of toxins.

What you can expect:
I allow 1 - 1 1/2 hrs for the first appt. and generally 1hr for follow-ups. Treatment can be done through light, loose clothing; heavy tight clothing will need to be removed, such as jeans.
Weekly treatments are advisable:
Acute 1-3 appointments
Chronic 4-8 appointments
Degenerative conditions or the disabled regular appointments.
